Every morning, after I have read Scripture, I read The Greatest Saleman in the World by Og Mandino. It is a bit of brillient writing.
I greet this day with love in my heart. Og Mandino
I love putting this in my heart. What a terrific way to set my attitude aright! Those nine words cover so much. I have had a lot of fun observing the positive affect the phrase has on my attitude and those around me and who I encounter.
The ripple effect
With love in my heart I silently say to each person I meet, I love you. This puts a smile on my face and a twinkle in my eye. The ripple has begun and the person who I am addressing, returns my silent greeting with a smile.
No end
That smile fills me with joy and I stand a little taller, walk more confidently, and I am happy. All who see me, greet me. ALL are affected by the love that I continue to express in silence. They experience they are unable to hold it to themselves, thus, they share it.
Mining the soul
This is the beginning of a good heart cleanse. How can you receive such a fulfilling sense of joy and still not address the ‘uncomfortable’? That being the unforgiveness that has been harbored for so long, I was thinking it is just the natural landscape that is my life. But I don’t want it! So dig deep!
User friendly
That unforgiveness had existed for so long, I really believed it was just a natural thing. But practicing this Scroll (2) has allowed reflection and another bit of self discovery.
Louise, I love what you said about the ripple affect of saying “I love you” silently…even to yourself and unforgiveness! We are working with such powerful tools!
Thank you, Shirley! I so appreciate your words of encouragement.
Louise, good for you for putting love into your heart. From your blog rover John.
Thank you, John!
